and whom we mocked?

Messengers before thee, indeed, were mocked, but that whereat they mocked surrounded those who scoffed at them.

Before you, other Messengers were mocked, but the mockers were encompassed by the very thing they mocked.

And what they mocked encompassed them.

and arrogantly mocked and reviled them.

Mocked were (many) messengers before thee but their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked.

They mocked every Messenger that came to them.

Whenever a Messenger came to them, they mocked him.

The boy mocked his friend for being a coward.

They mocked the Messengers who lived before you (Muhammad), but those who received warnings of punishment and mocked the warnings, all suffered their torments accordingly.

But no Messenger came to them except he was mocked.

no Prophet came to them except that they mocked him,

(Muhammad), people have mocked the Messengers who lived before you.

but whenever a prophet came to them, they mocked him,

The men who held Jesus mocked him and beat him.

But never came a messenger to them but they mocked him.

The child who represented it was mocked, ridiculed and bullied endlessly.

And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

And whenever any Prophet came to them, they only mocked at him.

but not a Prophet came to them, without they mocked at him

Yet never did a Prophet come to them but they mocked him.

You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me.

And there never came an apostle to them but they mocked him.

And never came there a prophet to them but they mocked him.

The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,

and not a single Messenger came to them, but they mocked at him

And there came not to them a prophet but they mocked at him.

And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

The evil they perpetrated overtook them, and what they mocked has turned upon them.

Their requital will be Hell, because they disbelieved and mocked My signs and messengers.

Gehenna is their recompense because they disbelieved and mocked My verses, and My Messengers.

Say Was it at Allah and His communications and His Apostle that you mocked?

but there was never a messenger who came to them but they mocked him

Yes indeed only you are very intelligent, most righteous . ( They mocked at him with sarcasm.)

The evil consequences of their misdeeds overtook them and what they mocked at overwhelmed them.

Other Messengers were mocked before you but I respited the unbelievers, then I seized them.

So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them.
