Nor will I worship what you worship,

And neither will I ever worship what you worship.

nor am I serving what you have served,

And I shall not be a worshipper of that which ye have worshipped,

And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping.

Nor do I serve what you serve.

nor will I worship those whom you have worshipped

And I shall not worship that which ye worship.

nor will I worship what you have worshipped,

Nor am I worshiping what you have worshipped,

Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.

I have not been worshipping what you worshipped,

Nor am I going to serve that which you serve,

I will never worship what you worship.

And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,

So, I was the one who should have kept the book, but it was a really wonderful moment.

Yet they say If Ar Rahman had so pleased we would not have worshipped them.

Never soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents.

And they say, If the Most Gracious had willed, we would not have worshipped them!

They say, 'Had the All merciful so willed, we would not have served them.'

By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. Chapter 19

And they say had the Compassionate willed we should not have worshipped them.

Nay, but they (the so called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection).

And they said If it had been the Will of the Most Beneficent (Allah), we should not have worshipped them (false deities).

And they say, Had the Most Gracious willed, we would not have worshiped them.

They say Had the Merciful One so willed, we would never have worshipped these deities.

Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them.

And they say If the Beneficent One had (so) willed, we should not have worshipped them.

They say, Had the All beneficent wished, we would not have worshipped them.

And they said, If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them.

In fact, they can have no honor their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them.

The pagans say, Had the Beneficent God wanted, we would not have worshipped them (idols).

And they say If the Beneficent Allah had pleased, we should never have worshipped them.

But they shall reject their worship and turn against them.

They say, If the All Merciful had so willed, we would not have worshipped them.

Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them.

( Ah! ) they say, If it had been the will of (Allah) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such (deities)!

This has done little to calm fears in Anlong Veng.

The sweets are served warm or cold.

Of no use was even my wealth.

My wealth did not in the least benefit me.

My wealth has not availed me,

My riches have availed me not
