and that He might also know the hypocrites when it was said of them, 'Come now, fight in the way of God, or repel!'

And that he might know those who played the hypocrite.

And that He might test the hypocrites, it was said to them Come, fight in the Way of Allah or (at least) defend yourselves.

And in Thamud (there is also a sign), when they were told Enjoy yourselves for a while!

And in (the tribe of) Thamud (there is a portent) when it was told them Take your ease awhile.

And in Thamud, when they were told, Enjoy for a while.

And in Thamood it was said to them 'Take your enjoyment for awhile'

And in Thamud, when it was said to them, Enjoy yourselves for a time.

There is also evidence (of the Truth) in the story of the Thamud, who were told to enjoy themselves for an appointed time.

And in Samood When it was said to them Enjoy yourselves for a while.

In the Thamud there was another sign , when they were told, Make the most of your lives for a while.

And in the Thamud (was another Sign) Behold, they were told, Enjoy (your brief day) for a little while!

Jesus stood still, and called them, and asked, What do you want me to do for you?

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

Moses said to them Woe betide you.

and Moses said to them, 'O beware!

Musa (Moses) said to them Woe unto you!

Moses said to them, Woe to you.

(At the time of the encounter) Moses said to them Woe to you!
