He said Do as you are bidden.

Do that which thou art commanded.

Do whatever you have been commanded.

It is what the law ordains.

There is very little paper left, so order some more.

He replied Father, do as you are commanded.

Prevent them from doing evil.

Does their reasoning prompt them to this, or they are a people rebellious?

Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people?

Or do their intellects bid them do this? Or are they an insolent people?

Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious?

Do their minds command them this i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW) or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief).

Or is it that their dreams compel them to this? Or are they aggressive people?

Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?

Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk?

Is it their intellect which prompts them to say this, or are they a rebellious lot?

Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people?

Or do their minds command them to say this, or are they a transgressing people?

Does their reason tell them to say this or is it because they are a rebellious people?

Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people?

is it their minds that prompt them to say this, or are they merely insolent people?

Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds?

So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters.

Therefore publicly announce what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists.

So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters.

Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters.

Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. see V. 2 105).

So proclaim openly what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists.

(O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity.

So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters.

So proclaim what you have been commanded, and turn away from the polytheists.

Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers.

Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists.

Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans.

Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists.

Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists.

Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah.

O my son, fulfil your moral obligations, bid what is known to be right and forbid what is wrong, and bear with patience what befalls you.

O my son, perform the prayer, and bid unto honour, and forbid dishonour.

O my son, observe the prayer, advocate righteousness, forbid evil, and be patient over what has befallen you.

Son, establish Prayer, enjoin all that is good and forbid all that is evil, and endure with patience whatever affliction befalls you.

O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you.

For he will only instruct you towards the evil and the shameful, and that you fabricate matters concerning Allah, what you do not know.

He only commands you to evil and indecency, and that you should speak against God such things as you know not.

He only commandeth you to evil and indecency, and that ye should say against Allah that which ye know not
