They did not differ until knowledge came to them.

They only disagreed among themselves after knowledge (of the truth had) come to them.

They did not differ until knowledge was given them.

And they did not differ until after knowledge had come to them.

They did not create differences among themselves until after the knowledge had come to them.

And it was not until knowledge of God's revelation was granted to them that they began to hold divergent views.

Now? Whereas you were disobedient from the start and you were mischievous! (This was said to Firaun. Accepting faith at the time of death is of no use.)

And before thou didst rebel, being of those that did corruption.

When you have rebelled before, and been of the mischief makers?

When hitherto thou hast rebelled and been of the wrong doers?

Now? When you have been disobedient heretofore and were among the agents of corruption?!

But before this you rebelled and were of the corrupt.

And you had disobeyed Him before and were of the corrupters?

When you had always been a rebel, and a wrongdoer.

Now indeed! whereas thou hast rebelled afore, and wast of the corrupters.

Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before and you were one of the Mufsidun (evil doers, corrupts, etc.).

(Thereupon came the response) 'Now you believe, although you disobeyed earlier and were one of the mischief makers.

(God replied), Now you declare belief in Me! but before this you were a disobedient rebel.

What! now! and indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief makers.

(It was said to him) Ah now! But a little while before, wast thou in rebellion! and thou didst mischief (and violence)!

After spending all that money, we would not even be able to tell the difference.

I ll go out after I ve rested for a while.

Yet they did not differ about it until knowledge came to them, through rivalries among themselves.

And they did not differ until after knowledge came to them, through mutual jealousies.

And they differed not except after the knowledge had come Unto them, through spite among themselves.

And they divided not till after knowledge had come to them, through selfish transgression between themselves.

And they differed not until after the knowledge came to them, through envy among themselves.

They became divided only after knowledge came to them, out of resentment among themselves.

They fell into dispute only after knowledge came to them, out of mutual rivalry.

They did not split up except after knowledge had come to them, and then only because they wished to commit excesses against each other.

Yet they differed among themselves (not out of ignorance but) after knowledge had come to them and they did so out of the desire to commit excesses against one another.

And they differed not until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves.

But they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves.

Yet they became divided only after knowledge had reached them from their own insolence.

And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them out of jealous animosity between themselves.

And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them out of jealous animosity between themselves.

Only after receiving the knowledge did people divide themselves into different groups because of rebellion among themselves.

Only after having received knowledge did they create differences among themselves because of their rebelliousness.

They became divided only after knowledge had reached them, out of mutual jealousy.

It was only after knowledge came to them that they differed among themselves out of mutual rivalry.

And they became divided only after Knowledge reached them, through selfish envy as between themselves.

They have spoken the testimony of disbelief and have then turned back to disbelief.

But then their affirming served them nothing after they had seen Our torment.

But their belief profited them naught when they saw our prowess.

Then their Faith (in Islamic Monotheism) could not avail them when they saw Our punishment.
