He was sent to prison for armed robbery.

Then a calamity from your Lord fell upon it, but they remained fast asleep.

So an envoy from your Lord completed his round upon the garden, whilst they were sleeping.

Then a visitation from thy Lord visited it, while they were sleeping,

Wherefore an encircling visitation visited it even as they slept on.

Then there passed by on the (garden) something (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep.

But a calamity from your Lord went around it while they slept.

Thereupon a calamity from your Lord passed over it while they were asleep,

Then a visitation from thy Lord came upon it while they slept

Then, a visitation from your Lord visited it while they were asleep.

Then, a visitation from your Lord came down upon it while they slept,

So there came upon the garden an affliction from your Lord while they were asleep.

A visitor from your Lord circled around the garden during the night while they were asleep

Then there encompassed it a visitation from your Lord while they were sleeping.

A calamity from your Lord befell the orchard as they slept.

Then there came on the (garden) a visitation from thy Lord, (which swept away) all around, while they were asleep.

If you are afraid for him, cast him in the river without any fear or regret, for We shall restore him to you, and make him an apostle.

Verily We are going to restore him unto thee, and shall make him one of the sent ones.

Neither fear, nor sorrow because We shall restore him to you and make him among the Messengers'

We shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of (Our) Messengers.

We shall bring him back unto thee and shall make him (one) of Our messengers.

Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him one of the messengers.

Do not be afraid or grieved for We shall return him to you and make him a Messenger.

But never once an apostle came to them at whom they did not scoff.

No apostle ever came to them but they made fun of him.

And never does a Noble Messenger come to them, but they mock at him.

and not a single Messenger came to them, but they mocked at him

Never comes unto them a Messenger, but they mock at him.

And not an apostle came unto them but at him they were wont to mock.

And never came a Messenger to them but they did mock him.

There never came a Messenger to them but they used to mock at him.

But no messenger came to them, but they ridiculed him.

No messenger ever came to them, but they ridiculed him.

And whenever a Messenger came to them, they never failed to mock him.

Never does a Messenger come to them but they mock him.

And never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him.

Never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him!

and there did not come to them any apostle but that they used to deride him.

They mocked every Messenger that came to them.

And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him.
