They have certainly received the kind of news in which there is a lesson and strong words of wisdom,

And certainly some narratives have come to them wherein is prevention

there has come to them many a tiding wherein there are warnings,

There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them),

Have you not seen those who have been given a portion of the Scripture?

Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture?

Have you not considered those who were given a share of the Book?

Have you not noticed those who have been given a portion of the Book?

Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book was given?

Do you not consider, O Muhammad , those who were given a portion of the Scripture?

(Muhammad), consider those who have received a share of the Book.

Have you not considered those (Jews) who are given a portion of the Book?

Have you not considered those to whom a portion of the Book has been given?

Have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book has been given?

Have you not seen those who received a portion of the Book?

Do you not know of those who were in possession of a portion of the Book?
