MELIS (ARC). (IT) Mr President, our Group expresses its keenest appreciation of the complicated work summarized in the clear and dynamic reports of our colleagues.

Similarly countries with an imbalance cannot be expected to surrender budgetary control to the extent demanded.

What is the purpose of cooperation ? The report gives us a clear answer.

For example, possible targets of racism are categorized together when, in fact, they often have nothing more in common than their being part of an identifiable minority.

This is another year when our group has been very disappointed by the lack of courage shown by the Environment Committee.
