But some of you die before you reach the appointed term that you may haply understand.

That then He has charged you with haply you will understand.

Thus He enjoineth you that haply ye may reflect.

Thus Allah expoundeth unto you the revelations, haply ye may reflect.

So that you may be successful.

This He has commanded you that you may understand.

So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect.

All this He has enjoined upon you, so that you may understand.

Feeling grateful for this generosity, they might be inclined to return to him.

It is expected that you will use your common sense to grasp these.

All this is in order that you may reach an appointed term and that you may understand (the Truth).

This He hath command you, in order that ye may discern.

This is what He has enjoined upon you so that you may exercise your reason.

With such Allah charges you, in order that you understand.

Perhaps they will come back'

Worship your Lord and do good, in order that you prosper.

And fear Allah that you may succeed.

And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden to be killed except by legal right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason.

And among you is he who is taken in death before that , so that you reach a specified term and perhaps you will use reason.

Have fear of God so that perhaps you will have lasting happiness.

Take not a life which God has made sacred except by way of justice and law. Thus does He command you that you may learn wisdom.

All of you believers, turn to God in repentance so that perhaps you will have everlasting happiness.

These are parables which We tell to people so that perhaps they will think.

Enter your houses by their doors and be mindful of God, so that you may prosper.

That is what He has enjoined upon you, so that you may understand.

Thus does God expound to you His commandments, so that you may understand.

Perhaps it will rain tomorrow.

Perhaps that's true.

Thus have We made them subject to you that you may be grateful.

It is expected that they will guard themselves against wrong ways.

That is better for you, that ye may be heedful.

Maybe you will take admonition.

Then fear Allah perhaps you will be grateful.

Thus has God explained His evidence to men so that perhaps they will have fear of God.

This will perhaps make them give up their religion .
