No one has come forward to claim responsibility for what happened.

Had he attributed falsely any words to Us,

And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us

Had he invented against Us any sayings,

And if he had forged concerning us some discourses.

And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah),

Had he falsely attributed some statements to Us.

And if he i.e., the Prophets had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us,

And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us,

Had he faked any sayings in Our name,

Had he invented sayings against Us,

And if Muhammad had made up about Us some false sayings,

Had Muhammad invented some words against Us,.

And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings,

if he had invented any lies about Us,

And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,

For they have attributed a son to Ar Rahman,

Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious.

that they have attributed to the All merciful a son

That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. Chapter 19

That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah).

Because they attribute a son to the Most Merciful.

at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord.

That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son,

that they should ascribe a son to the All beneficent!

because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful.

That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.

to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God.

That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah.

because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One.

That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious.

A significant number of people with creative talents have reportedly experienced hypomania or other symptoms of bipolar disorder and attribute their success to it.

And they invented for Him sons and daughters, without any knowledge.

Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others.

Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others.

(Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other.

If there had been , then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others.

If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others.

Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate.

God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others glory to be God, beyond that they describe,

Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others.

No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others!

Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others.
