A disappointment.

This is a cruel deception.

For he who fabricates lies is doomed to failure.

Whoso forges has ever failed.'

And surely, he who invents a lie (against Allah) will fail miserably.

He who invents lies will fail.

Surely those who invent lies shall come to grief.

He who lieth faileth miserably.

Whoever fabricates lies certainly fails.

Indeed, whosoever forges has failed'

Definitely, it would be a major disappointment.

The party was a big disappointment.

I have been a disappointment to my parents.

What a disappointment!

What a letdown!

He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing

And he who carried (a burden of) wrongdoing (i.e. he who disbelieved in Allah, ascribed partners to Him, and did deeds of His disobedience), became indeed a complete failure (on that Day).

Whoever carries injustice will despair.

And he who beareth (a burden of) wrongdoing is indeed a failure (on that day).

Those who are burdened with wrong doing shall have failed,

And he will have failed who carries injustice.

Despair will strike those who are loaded with the burden of injustice.

Those burdened with evil deeds will come to grief,

You have been such a disappointment to your mother.

Then (the apostles) asked of God's assistance, and every arrogant tyrant was frustrated

And they sought a decision, and every stubborn rebel was destroyed.

They sought a judgment then was disappointed every froward tyrant

And they besought judgment, and disappointed was every tyrant obstinate.

But they (the Messengers) sought victory and help from their Lord (Allah) , and every obstinate, arrogant dictator (who refuses to believe in the Oneness of Allah) was brought to a complete loss and destruction.

And they prayed for victory, and every stubborn tyrant came to disappointment.

They sought Our judgement. And (thanks to that judgement) every obstinate tyrant opposed to the Truth was brought to naught.

And they sought help (from their Lord) and every froward potentate was bought to naught

They prayed for victory against the infidels , and every obstinate tyrant was defeated,

They sought a judgment, then every tyrant was disappointed.

And they requested victory from Allah, and disappointed, therefore , was every obstinate tyrant.

They prayed for victory and the haughty transgressors were defeated.

And they asked for judgment and every insolent opposer was disappointed

When they sought Our Judgement, every stubborn oppressor was frustrated.

But they sought victory and decision (there and then), and frustration was the lot of every powerful obstinate transgressor.

I tried to hide my disappointment.

Moosa said to them, Ruin is to you do not fabricate a lie against Allah, that He may destroy you by a punishment and indeed one who fabricates lies has failed.

Musa said unto them woe unto you! fabricate not against Allah a lie, lest he extirpate you with a torment, and surely He who fabricateth, loseth.

Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment and he has failed who invents such falsehood .

Whoever invents falsehood against God will certainly be lost.

Musa said to them Woe to you! do not forge a lie against Allah, lest He destroy you by a punishment, and he who forges (a lie) indeed fails to attain (his desire).
