He said O Lord, give me a token.

He said, 'Lord, appoint to me some sign.'

He said my Lord appoint for me a sign.

He said, My Lord, give me a sign.

Zechariah said Lord, grant me a Sign.

Zechariah said, My Lord, make for me a sign.

Zachariah asked, Lord, show me evidence (if this is a heavenly news).

He said My Lord! give me a sign.

He said, My Lord, grant me a sign!

(Zakariya) said O my Lord! give me a Sign.

Indeed there is a portent in this for those who believe.

Surely in this is a sign for those who believe.

When they see a sign, they laugh at it,

Indeed in this are signs for the believers.

And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it.

surely in that is a sign for believers.

and, when they see a sign, would scoff

Verily in that is a sign for the believers.

And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing.

Surely! Therein is indeed a sign for the believers.

Verily! Therein is surely a sign for those who believe.

And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it.

Surely in that is a sign for the believers.

And when they see a sign, they ridicule.

Verily there is a Sign in this for the believers.

Certainly there is a Sign in this for those who believe.

and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away

Lo! therein is indeed a portent for believers.

And seek to scoff when they behold a portent.

and there is indeed a sign in that for the faithful.

There is indeed a sign in that for the faithful.

and when they see a sign they make it an object of ridicule,

Surely, in that there is a sign for those who believe.

Surely, in that there is a sign for believers.

When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it

Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.

And when they see a sign, they ridicule
