Did you not see those who proclaim their piety (cleanliness of deeds)?

Hast thou not regarded those who purify themselves?

Have you not seen those who boast of their righteousness, even though it is Allah Who grants righteousness to whomsoever He wills?

Hast thou not seen those who praise themselves for purity?

Have you not regarded those who style themselves as pure?

Have you not seen those who exalt themselves?

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure?

(Muhammad), have you seen those who try to purify themselves?

Have you not considered those who attribute purity to themselves?

Have you not seen those who consider themselves pure?

Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who claim sanctity for themselves?
