I doubt Tom will be surprised.

Or He may seize them by diminishing their portion.

Or that He may seize them whilst constantly ruining them?

Or that He will not seize them, little by little destroying them?

Or that He may catch them with gradual wasting (of their wealth and health).

Or that He will not seize them while in dread?

or that He will not seize them when they are apprehensive of the impending calamity?

Or that He will not seize them with a gradual wasting?

Or that He will not visit them with attrition?

Or, that He will not seize them, a little at a time and destroy them?

Or that He would not seize them gradually in a state of dread ?

Are they confident that God will not slowly destroy them?

Or that He will not punish them by giving them a fright?

You might be surprised at the outcome.

Let the world see and be astonished.

Or that He will not seize them as they move about, and they will not be able to elude (His grasp)

Or that He may seize them while they move here and there, for they cannot escape?

Or that He will not seize them in their going to and fro, and they will not be able to frustrate Him?

Or, thathe will not take hold of them in their going to and fro! so that they cannot escape.

Or, that he will not take hold of them by giving them a fright? verily thy Lord is Kind, Merciful.

Or that He may catch them in the midst of their going to and fro (in their jobs), so that there be no escape for them (from Allah's Punishment)?

Or that He will not seize them during their activities? And they will not be able to prevent it.

or that He will not suddenly seize them while they are going about to and fro and they will be unable to frustrate His design,

Or that He will not seize them in their going to and fro so that there be no escape for them?

Or that He will not seize them in the midst of their bustle, whereupon they will not be able to frustrate Him ?

Or, that He will not seize them in their going to and fro, and they will not be able to frustrate Him?

Or that He would not seize them during their usual activity, and they could not cause failure?

Are they confident that God will not seize them while they are on a journey? They will not be able to escape from God.

Or that He may not seize them in the course of their journeys, then shall they not escape

Or that He may not seize them by causing them to suffer gradual loss, for your Lord is most surely Compassionate, Merciful.

Or that He will not seize them suddenly in their daily activities and they will not be able to frustrate Him?

Or that He may not call them to account in the midst of their goings to and fro, without a chance of their frustrating Him?

Or that He may not call them to account by a process of slow wastage for thy Lord is indeed full of kindness and mercy.

This is bad news, but perhaps surprising to you, it's also part of the good news.

This may surprise, but we are not talking of gigabytes or mega of memory.

And whosoever leaves his home as an emigrant unto Allah and His Messenger, and death overtakes him, his reward is then surely incumbent upon Allah.

Anyone who leaves his home, emigrating to God and His Messenger, and then is overtaken by death, his compensation falls on God.

And he who goes forth from his house as a migrant in the way of Allah and His Messenger, and whom death overtakes, his reward becomes incumbent on Allah.
