Have they taken others beside Him as protectors?

What! Have they appointed supporters other than Allah?

Or have they taken to them protectors apart from Him?

Have they taken patrons besides Him!

Or have they taken (for worship) Auliya' (guardians, supporters, helpers, protectors, etc.) besides Him?

Or have they adopted protectors besides him?

(Are they so foolish that) they have chosen others rather than Allah as their protectors?

Or have they chosen protecting friends besides Him?

Have they taken awliya besides Him?

Or have they taken to themselves guardians other than Him?

Or have they taken protectors or allies besides him?

Have they chosen other guardians besides Him?

Or have they taken guardians besides Him?

Have they taken for themselves protectors other than Him?

What! Have they taken (for worship) protectors besides Him?

Have they taken gods besides God?

Or have they taken gods apart from Him?

Have they taken gods beside Him?

Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him?

Or have they taken, besides Him, other gods?

Have they taken gods other than Him?

Have they taken gods besides Him?

Have they taken gods, other than Him?

Or have they taken gods besides Him?

Have they chosen other gods besides God?

Or, have they taken gods besides Him?

Have they taken other deities besides Him?

Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides him?

They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them.

And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength!

And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might.

And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. Chapter 19

And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.).

And they took, besides God, other gods, to be for them a source of strength.

And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory!

And take other gods apart from God that they may perhaps give them help.
