The Jain chaturvidha sangha includes monks, nuns, lay men (shravas) and women (shravikas).

A group of the pagans walked out of a meeting with the Prophet and told the others, Let us walk away. Be steadfast in the worship of your gods.

Their leaders departed, saying, Walk away! Hold fast to your deities.

And the leader among them go away (impatiently), (saying), Walk ye away, and remain constant to your gods!

The evolution of the loyalists position is not coincidental.

Of the believers are men who have fulfilled that which they covenaned with Allah.

Of the believers are men who are true to what they pledged to God.

Among the believers there are those who have remained true to the covenant they made with Allah.

Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah.

Among the believers there are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah.

Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah.

Among the believers there are people who are true in their promise to God.

Among the believers there are men who have been true to the pledge they made with God.
